CVE-2026-19042: TeamViewer Command Injection Enables Remote Code Execution

TeamViewer released patches for two high-severity vulnerabilities: CVE-2026-19042 (command injection in the Linux desktop client via chat link handling, CVSSv3 8.8) and CVE-2026-16444 (path traversal allowing arbitrary file writes, CVSSv3 7.5). Both affect multiple TeamViewer branches and platforms; updates are available (notably 15.81.5) and users should apply them immediately, although TeamViewer reports no known exploitation in the wild.
