Fake Shop Campaigns Target Europe

This Bitdefender Labs report details over 55 fake-shop campaigns across 12 European countries that impersonate major brands (Samsung, Nike, Adidas, ZARA) using Facebook ads, WhatsApp, email phishing and Unicode lookalike domains to sell counterfeit or non-existent goods and harvest payment and delivery data; researchers mapped 40+ domains, identified suspected operators (e.g., "Supplier Carl", "Homborg Online Handel"), and warn consumers to verify domains and use credit cards rather than direct bank transfers.
