SonicWall Issues Fixes for SonicOS Vulnerabilities

SonicWall published a critical advisory for SonicOS addressing three vulnerabilities — an improper access control flaw (CVE-2026-0204, CVSS 8.0) that can expose management functions, a post-authentication path traversal (CVE-2026-0205, CVSS 6.8), and a stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-2026-0206) that can crash firewalls. The issues affect Gen6 through Gen8 devices with specific fixed firmware versions provided; administrators are urged to apply updates or temporarily disable HTTP/HTTPS management and SSLVPN and restrict access to SSH, and to back up configurations before upgrading.
