Why Your Current Security Stack Can’t Detect SMS Threats

This brief argues that SMS and mobile messaging are an unmonitored enterprise attack surface due to limits of carrier filtering, RCS/encryption reducing visibility, and the inability of traditional email/endpoints/network controls to detect linkless or conversational smishing; it introduces iVerify’s SmishGuard as a device-based detection and intervention solution that preserves user privacy while identifying URL and non-URL social engineering threats.
