This report surveys security research and demonstrated attacks against connected-vehicle systems — from remote keyless entry (Megamos) and TPMS privacy concerns to Bluetooth headset hijacking, OnStar telematics compromise (including fallback modem exploits), and sensor spoofing against radar and lidar — highlighting how wireless and telematics components can be abused to eavesdrop, unlock or remotely manipulate vehicles and to fabricate obstacle data for autonomous systems.
