NCC Group co-signs the Electronic Frontier Foundation’s Statement on DMCA Use Against Security Researchers

NCC Group and several security and technology organizations co-signed an EFF statement opposing the use of DMCA Section 1201 to suppress good-faith security research and third-party testing tools; the signatories urge policymakers to reform Section 1201 and for companies and prosecutors to refrain from using it against legitimate security research.
