Workshop on ITU-T X.1060 Cyber Defence Centre at Kigali, Rwanda

JPCERT/CC hosted a workshop at the 2023 FIRST & AfricaCERT Symposium in Kigali to introduce ITU‑T X.1060, a recommendation that provides a framework for creating and operating a Cyber Defence Centre (CDC) to manage organizational cybersecurity risk through Build, Management, and Evaluation processes. The session highlighted how X.1060 complements existing frameworks like the FIRST CSIRT Services Framework and NIST SP 800‑61, noted its particular applicability to large organizations and national initiatives, and directed attendees to a short overview video for further learning.
