Brazilian Entities Increasingly Targeted by Nation-State Phishing Attacks

Mandiant reports that over 85% of government-targeted phishing against Brazil is attributed to Chinese, North Korean, and Russian actors; North Korea is also pursuing financially motivated and espionage-focused spear-phishing (including potential insider hiring), while criminal groups frequently impersonate Brazilian tax and payment platforms in phishing campaigns.
