Warning: Security Incidents in France Targeting Remote Controllers of Refrigeration Installations, patch immediately!

The Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB) warns of numerous active compromises of remote refrigeration controller systems (Copeland xweb, Danfoss AK-SC/AK-SM, Dixell xweb) in French supermarket chains caused by management interfaces exposed to the public Internet; it recommends immediate removal of Internet exposure, firmware updates, factory resets when compromised, configuration verification, and reporting incidents to the CCB, noting campaigns are likely ongoing and End-of-Life devices are at high risk.
