The most ultraportable laptop I tested at CES wasn't made by Dell or Lenovo

MSI announced two new thin-and-light, business-focused laptop lines at CES 2026: the flagship Prestige AI+ series in 13-, 14-, and 16-inch sizes (with 2-in-1 options for the latter two) featuring Intel Core Ultra Series 3 "Panther Lake" chips, standard OLED displays up to 2.8K/120Hz, up to 64GB LPDDR5x, and long battery life, and the more affordable Modern 14S/16S AI+ series with Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3, OLED or IPS panels, 16–32GB memory, and a starting price around $1,099. The designs are minimalist and lightweight—drawing comparisons to MacBooks—with large trackpads, sleek all-metal builds, and premium touches like the Nano Pen for Flip models.
