HP's 45-hour battery life OmniBook is the most exciting laptop unveiling at CES this year

HP is overhauling its OmniBook laptops with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 processors and OLED displays across the lineup, beginning with the premium OmniBook Ultra 14 that offers a 3K OLED screen, up to 64GB RAM, Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a thin-and-light design, with claims of standout battery life (up to 45 hours on the 16-inch OmniBook 3). The rollout starts this month with the Ultra 14 (from $1,550), followed by the OmniBook 3 and 5 in February (from $500 and $850), and the OmniBook 7 and X later in the spring, positioning the new systems to compete with Apple’s M4-based laptops.
