Sennheiser just unveiled the first pair of TV headphones with Auracast support, and it's a big deal

Sennheiser announced the RS 275 TV Headphones bundle, pairing the HDR 275 over-ear headphones with the BTA1 Auracast transmitter to enable low-latency, brand-agnostic private listening for TVs and other devices. The BTA1 supports Auracast and the LC3 codec, can broadcast to unlimited compatible receivers, connects via Optical/HDMI ARC/3.5mm, and requires USB-A power. The HDR 275 offers up to 50 hours of battery life, breathable cushions, Bluetooth (including Auracast and Classic), and app-based audio personalization. The bundle is priced at $300 and available for preorder on Feb. 3, with the BTA1 sold separately for $130.
