Your Google Chrome browser just got a useful autopilot feature - here's how it works

ZDNET reports that Google is upgrading Chrome with Gemini 3, a larger sidepanel assistant, and a new Auto Browse feature that can navigate pages and perform actions like form-filling and shopping (launching Jan 28 for AI Pro/Ultra). The browser adds support for the Universal Commerce Protocol and will roll out Personal Intelligence to connect data from Gmail, Drive, Photos, and YouTube with user confirmations for purchases; despite promising automation, reliability and privacy concerns remain, and no general availability date is set.
