Mozilla’s Firefox 148 will introduce a centralized AI Controls panel that lets users enable or disable AI features—including chatbot, page summaries, translations, PDF accessibility descriptions, and AI-assisted tab grouping—responding to user backlash over AI in the browser. The feature is expected to arrive in the stable release around Feb. 24, with Nightly builds not yet showing it, and settings will persist across updates.
