Euro-Office, Europe's open-source alternative to Microsoft Office and Google Docs, launches June 9

Euro-Office is a newly launched, Europe-backed open-source web office suite (documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDFs) designed for digital sovereignty and compatibility with Microsoft Office and OpenDocument formats. Developed by a consortium of European vendors and integrators (including Nextcloud, Ionos, XWiki, and others), it offers real-time collaboration, familiar ribbon-style UI, and planned integrations into existing European collaboration ecosystems starting with public GitHub availability on June 9 and rollouts through partner platforms.
