Whoops! ACEMAGIC ships mini PCs with free bonus pre-installed malware

ACEMAGIC acknowledged that an isolated batch of its mini PCs shipped with pre-installed malware—Redline (an infostealer) and Bladabindi (a backdoor)—discovered by Microsoft Defender in an ENDEV folder; the company attributes the problem to unsigned third-party software included to speed setup, is offering refunds/discounts, and says affected units were manufactured before November 18, 2023.
