Network Message, Volume 3: Headers and Encoding

This technical article (third in a series) introduces low-level implementation details of Farsight Security's NMSG protocol (version 2) and the nmsg C library (0.9.1), describing the 10-octet header format and flags, the use of Google Protocol Buffers for payload encoding, protobuf definitions for Nmsg/NmsgFragment/NmsgPayload, and the included base and SIE message modules, and notes that the next article will cover the libnmsg C API.
