Zimbabwe Trains Government Officials in Cybersecurity Skills

Zimbabwe has launched a national cybersecurity training program for government officials in response to a series of recent incidents — including a 2022 bank-account breach reportedly involving a $120 million theft, an Interpol takedown of a transnational cybercrime operation, social media account compromises, and reported bank system intrusions with ransom demands — aimed at improving security governance, standards, and enterprise data protection.
