CodeRED Emergency Alert Platform Shut Down Following Cyberattack

A November ransomware attack attributed to the Inc ransomware gang compromised Crisis24's OnSolve CodeRED emergency notification platform, leading the company to suspend and ultimately decommission the service; the attackers claim to have stolen subscriber data (names, addresses, emails, phone numbers and reportedly plaintext passwords) and published samples for sale, prompting government customers to transition services, terminate contracts, and warn subscribers to change reused passwords and enable MFA.
