Fostering Collaboration for Standardized Threat Investigation & Response

This article promotes the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework (OCSF) as a vendor-agnostic standard to normalize and unify security telemetry across tools, reducing data silos and easing threat detection and investigation. It argues that widespread adoption requires coordinated efforts, outlining five steps: engage customers on benefits and pain points, foster vendor collaboration to avoid lock-in, encourage federal support (e.g., CISA requirements), maintain open communication among stakeholders, and highlight enterprise use cases to accelerate momentum.
