Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy and the Global Cybersecurity Forum announced a research initiative at the Digital Summit Latam (Madrid, Feb 26–27, 2025) to expand on prior studies and survey women across Latin America about pathways and barriers to entering and advancing in cybersecurity, aiming to inform evidence-based strategies that address the global 2.8 million-person talent shortage and strengthen resilience; the work will also support GCF’s Women Empowerment in Cybersecurity initiative.
