Law enforcement in Australia, Europe, and the U.S. unmasked Dmitry Yuryevich Khoroshev (aka LockBitSupp) as the alleged leader of the LockBit ransomware gang, which reportedly generated at least $100 million and was responsible for a significant share of Australian ransomware incidents; authorities dismantled infrastructure, seized assets, imposed sanctions and travel bans, and warned that payments or dealings with the sanctioned individual will be prohibited and punishable.
