Fujitsu Suffers Worm-Like Attack From Something That Wasn't Ransomware

Fujitsu confirmed a sophisticated self‑propagating malware infected one business PC and spread to 49 others in its Japan environment, was difficult to detect due to cloaking techniques, and resulted in data exfiltration of files containing personal and business-related customer information; the company says the issue did not affect cloud-managed or customer environments and has implemented enhanced detection and monitoring controls.
