Microsoft Gives Security Copilot Some Autonomy

Microsoft is expanding Security Copilot with agentic AI that can autonomously offload high-volume SOC tasks—such as phishing triage, identity policy scanning, vulnerability prioritization, and customized threat briefings—by integrating agents into Defender XDR, Purview, Intune, Entra, and partner products; previews of these agents (including a Phishing Triage Agent and others) will be available on April 27 to help reduce manual workloads and accelerate security response.
