CSA: CISOs Should Prepare for Post-Mythos Exploit Storm

Anthropic's new Claude Mythos LLM is reported to be highly capable at discovering and exploiting complex, high-severity vulnerabilities across major OSes and browsers, prompting the company to launch Project Glasswing to give select vendors early access and mitigate potential misuse. Industry groups including the Cloud Security Alliance warn that AI-driven discovery could create a rapid surge of disclosures and exploitation attempts, and recommend defenders accelerate patching, adopt LLM-based automation, strengthen dependency management, and expand staffing and collaboration to handle increased volume and speed of vulnerabilities.
