Amnesty International Cites Indonesia as a Spyware Hub

Amnesty International's Security Lab research identifies Indonesia as an emerging market for commercial spyware and surveillance technologies, documenting shipments and sales from vendors linked to NSO/Intellexa, Candiru, FinFisher, and others (2017–last year). The report maps malicious domains and network infrastructure used by these spyware platforms—often mimicking political parties and media outlets—and highlights the particular risk to civil society and journalists in Indonesia.
