Prudential Financial disclosed that an organized cybercrime group gained unauthorized access to certain IT systems on Feb. 5, potentially exposing administrative and user data and a small percentage of employee and contractor accounts; the company has begun an investigation and proactively filed a Form 8-K while the scope and any customer impact remain unknown.
