Intel Harnesses Hackathons to Tackle Hardware Vulnerabilities

Intel’s Hack@DAC initiative and academic collaborations have driven greater awareness and tooling for hardware security, leading to work with MITRE to extend CWE for hardware, adoption of open-source reference designs like OpenTitan, and improved vulnerability detection tools such as Cycuity’s Radix that claim to identify a large portion of known hardware weaknesses.
