Researchers disclosed a practical exploit named "Unsaflok" that can overwrite data on Saflok MIFARE Classic keycard locks—used on roughly 3 million doors across ~13,000 hotels—allowing attackers to open doors with custom-written cards using widely available NFC/RFID tools; patching is slow (only ~36% updated), making many locks remain vulnerable and increasing risk to hotel guests and high-value targets.
