The Linux Foundation announced the Post-Quantum Cryptography Alliance (PQCA), a collaborative initiative uniting organizations including AWS, Cisco, Google, IBM, NVIDIA, QuSecure, SandboxAQ, Keyfactor, Kudelski IoT, IntellectEU, and the University of Waterloo to advance and operationalize post-quantum cryptography. PQCA will develop high-assurance, production-ready implementations of standardized and emerging PQC algorithms, support cryptographic agility aligned with NSA CNSA 2.0 timelines, and steward projects such as Open Quantum Safe and the new PQ Code Package starting with ML-KEM.
