Fake CrowdStrike 'Job Interviews' Become Latest Hacker Tactic

Cybercriminals are impersonating CrowdStrike recruiters in a targeted phishing campaign that lures job seekers to malicious sites offering a fake "CRM application"; selecting an option downloads a Rust-built executable that performs environment checks and then fetches the XMRig cryptominer while showing a fake error to the user. CrowdStrike identified the campaign and warns recipients not to download software for interviews and to verify recruiter communications through official channels.
