Cisco Adds NHI to Security Stack With Astrix, WideField Acquisitions

As enterprises deploy AI agents at scale, Cisco is acquiring Astrix Security and WideField Security to extend identity-centric protections for non-human identities (API keys, service accounts, OAuth tokens) and build an "Agentic SOC" by integrating NHI discovery, identity lifecycle, and session telemetry into Cisco Identity Intelligence, Splunk, Duo, and Secure Access to improve visibility, governance, and threat detection for AI agents.
