Japan Runs Inaugural Cyber Defense Drills With Pacific Island Nations

Japan led a cybersecurity exercise in Guam with Kiribati, the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, and Palau (with Fiji and Tonga observing) to bolster Pacific island nations' cyber defenses through technical training and tools, aiming to reduce the risk that attackers could exploit those countries' networks to reach Japan, Taiwan, or other regional infrastructure.
