Cisco Drops 48 New Firewall Vulnerabilities, 2 Critical

Cisco disclosed 48 vulnerabilities across its ASA, Secure FTD, and Secure Firewall Management Center (FMC), including two critical 10.0 CVSS flaws (CVE-2026-20079 and CVE-2026-20131) that permit authentication bypass and insecure deserialization leading to remote code execution as root on the FMC web interface; Cisco and the Netherlands NCSC recommend immediate patching as PoCs and large-scale exploitation are anticipated.
