SecureG, CTIA Project Secures Business Phone Calls

SecureG has partnered with CTIA to launch Branded Calling ID (BCID), a standards-based Rich Call Data initiative that uses PKI-backed digital signatures and CTIA’s STI-CA to authenticate enterprise-branded calls with logos and call reasons across networks and devices. The initiative aims to curb spam and fraud, including AI voice impersonation, by vetting participants and enabling trusted caller identity, with enterprises paying only for confirmed-delivered branded calls and survey data indicating consumers are more likely to answer authenticated calls.
