Internet Archive Slowly Revives After DDoS Barrage

The Internet Archive experienced a significant security incident in which hackers stole and leaked account information for roughly 31 million users and launched multiple DDoS attacks against the archive's ASN (7941), causing services including the Wayback Machine to be taken offline; Netscout observed 24 DDoS attacks and the organization is restoring read-only access while investigating and hardening systems.
