Bank of America customers' personal data from deferred-compensation plans was likely exposed after a ransomware attack on vendor Infosys McCamish Systems (IMS) in late October/early November; approximately 57,028 individuals may be affected, LockBit claimed responsibility and advertised the stolen data, IMS engaged forensic responders and reported containment and remediation while Bank of America stated its own systems were not impacted.
