MITRE Launches AI Incident Sharing Initiative

MITRE’s Center for Threat-Informed Defense launched the AI Incident Sharing initiative under its Secure AI project to enable rapid, secure sharing of anonymized data on threats, attacks, and accidents involving AI-enabled systems, expanding the MITRE ATLAS knowledge base to cover generative AI with new case studies, attack techniques, and mitigations. The program invites incident submissions, considers contributors for membership, and is supported by collaborators across finance, technology, and healthcare, including organizations such as Microsoft, CrowdStrike, JPMorgan Chase, and others.
