Two related unauthenticated vulnerabilities in SonicWall Series 6 and 7 firewall management interfaces (CVE-2022-22274 and CVE-2023-0656) can be exploited via specially crafted HTTP requests to cause device crashes (DoS) and potentially enable remote code execution; researchers discovered ~178,637 vulnerable, internet-exposed devices, developed and published exploit/proof-of-concept code, and recommend updating firmware and removing management interfaces from public exposure.
