The FBI and U.S. Treasury warn that Funnull Technology Inc. is facilitating large-scale cryptocurrency investment fraud by selling IP addresses and providing hosting/DNS infrastructure to scammers. Investigators linked 548 unique Funnull CNAMEs to over 332,000 domains and observed recurring CNAME and IP activity patterns; OFAC has sanctioned Funnull and the FBI recommends that DNS providers, ISPs, browsers, and safe-browsing services raise risk metrics and warn end users that HTTPS/green locks do not guarantee legitimacy.
