Twilio Users Kicked Out of Desktop App, Forced to Switch to Mobile

Twilio has shut down the Authy Desktop app across major OSes and is logging users out following its end-of-life; the company recommends switching to the mobile app which it says is fully supported. Several users report tokens did not properly synchronize to mobile devices, likely because the backup/sync feature was not enabled, and Twilio has provided instructions for recovering or decrypting affected 2FA accounts.
