A Cloudflare survey of nearly 1,000 security professionals across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Turkey found organizations experienced frequent cyberattacks over the past year (more than 10 on average), with increases in DDoS and reported Android-targeted malware against Turkish users; only 46% feel well-prepared for future attacks. Firms plan to increase cybersecurity budgets and prioritize simplifying and modernizing defenses, but face significant gaps in cloud and application security, supply-chain oversight, device visibility, staffing shortages, and inconsistent executive buy-in, with media, telecom, and gaming sectors expressing the greatest concern.
