Seattle-Tacoma Airport Suffers System Outages Due to Possible Cyberattack

Seattle–Tacoma International Airport and the Port of Seattle experienced internet and web system outages beginning on Aug. 24 that are possibly the result of a cyberattack. Affected services include websites, email, phone systems, and baggage sorting, while security operations reportedly remain unaffected; port teams are isolating critical systems and working with authorities and travelers to restore service with no estimated time for full recovery.
