Texas Tech University's Health Sciences Centers experienced a disruptive cyberattack that exposed data for roughly 1.4 million patients. Attackers accessed HSC networks between Sept. 17–29 and reportedly exfiltrated folders containing sensitive PII and medical/billing records; the Interlock ransomware group claimed responsibility.
