DigiCert to Acquire Vercara

DigiCert announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Vercara, a cloud-based provider of managed authoritative DNS and application/network security (including DDoS and WAF) services. The release highlights how Vercara’s UltraDNS and security portfolio will complement DigiCert’s PKI and certificate management offerings to deliver unified DNS and certificate workflows, includes executive statements and advisors, and notes the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
