Mimecast Announces Acquisition of Aware, Doubles Down on AI-Powered Human Risk Management Capabilities

Mimecast announced it has acquired Aware, an AI collaboration security platform, to expand its Human Risk Management (HRM) capabilities; the release highlights integration of Aware’s AI models for collaboration channels (Slack, Teams, Zoom, etc.) to improve insider threat detection, impersonation/BEC defenses, compliance, and archiving, while noting financial terms were not disclosed and existing Aware customers will continue to be supported.
