SocGholish Takedown Highlights Malicious TDS Threats

Law-enforcement Operation Endgame disrupted SocGholish infrastructure by seizing 106 servers and multiple domains and remediating ~14,971 compromised websites; SocGholish (tracked as TA569) is a multi-stage JavaScript framework distributed via compromised WordPress sites and abused traffic distribution systems (TDSs) to deliver fake browser updates that provide initial access for ransomware and other follow-on activity across many sectors.
