Check Point Research and other sources report African organizations experienced the highest weekly volume of cyberattacks (nearly 3,000 per week) driven by phishing, info-stealers, compromised hosts, and underground markets selling network access; ransomware is currently a smaller share of incidents while APT activity and skill/legal gaps magnify risk.
