US Pumps $50M Into Better Healthcare Cyber Resilience

ARPA-H has pledged $50 million to launch the Upgrade program, which will fund development of automated vulnerability management, detection, and custom defenses for diverse hospital environments and medical devices. The initiative aims to simulate vulnerabilities, speed up patching and remediation, and adapt protections across a wide range of devices to reduce the risk of ransomware and other cyberattacks impacting patient care.
