Critical Automated Tank Gauge Bugs Threaten Gas Infrastructure

Researchers disclosed 11 critical vulnerabilities in ATG (automated tank gauge) systems from multiple vendors that can permit administrative takeover and control of physical processes; many devices remain internet-exposed and some vendors are unpatched or unresponsive, creating high-impact risks (environmental spills, equipment damage, DoS) to fuel-storage and critical infrastructure sites, with at least one brand reportedly being actively exploited.
